bump**
Sorry. If your sentence would make sense somebody could help you. maybe you can reformulate it?

i have another wii that has a banner brick (it give an error if i press a ont the warning screen) but if it doesnt load the original zelda disc im screwed up ?

You need a modchip in any case. If you are on 3.2 or below you can just use an autoboot disc with wadmanager to delete the channel with the bad banner.
If you are on 3.3 you have to have the twilight hack allready installed, then you can use an autoboot Zelda.
If you have none of the above, you are screwed.

In any case you won't need Savemii for this, as your health and safety screen is still intact.

Ugh...

To those of you having problems with auto-booting....

I was using "Wii Autoboot Creator English" to flag my discs as autoboot and this was not working.

This morning I tried "Wii_BootMe" - http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Wii_BootMe & it works. Try this before giving up on your mod chip.

Savemiifrii is working quite well for me now, it's nice to have more bootpaths

marcan please reply to this, is there anyway i get get my own gamesave onto the hacked zelda save on slot 2 or something? id like to keep the hack on my wii, but id like to be able to play zelda at the same time without haveing to keep swaping saves
cheers

You have a few options... you could get a copy of zelda from another region.

Or what I do, just leave the twilight hack in the first slot, and play on the second.

you can use every other saveslot in the twighlight hack save file. keep the hacked save game and don't copy or move it.

i already asked if its possible to get my current saveslots of my regular savegame into the twighlight hacked save, but it seems to be quite hard to impossible.

So, even if you have a SaveMii, SaveFrii or Starfall, you need "a huevo" a modchip, right??

a huevo = necessarily

no....with Starfall it does not require a modchip, it forces autoboot on all discs, even retail Zelda: TP.

ONLY WITH STARFALL is this true.

No one is an asshole for not releasing this information. SaveMii wasn't advertised as the perfect tool for repairing your Wii. Unlike with other products, there was a lot of detailed information which explained what the SaveMii did, in which cases you could use it etc.

If my Wii would have been bricked, I would have bought it at once.

If that would've happened, I would have paid 30 euros to fix a Wii which I couldn't use anymore. Also, I would have a permanent tool to recover my Wii in an easy way.

I don't know about you guys, but I wouldn't feel screwed over.

Let's assume that Team Twiizers knew about this from the beginning. The would have been developing hardware that they knew was completely unnecessary. It would have cost a lot of time, and they would have known that any moment someone could find out about this. Also, they would take the risk of ordering 1000 units from the factory, while they knew that someone could release this information.

This is just not logical. Team Twiizers found out about this too late, and the only reason why they didn't release it is because they would have great financial losses. What's morally wrong about that?

Thank you. What he said. -^

yeah but im not going to buy a modchip soon maybe in a month or 2QUOTEwell than you have a brick for 2 months. Have fun with it.
Lol

Yeah WiiAutoBootCreator is Sh*t, doesn't even work, Only BOOTME does, i tried that with a backup of zelda on autoboot and one with bootme, only bootme works auto wise, so autobootcreator is A CON....

So has anyone got rid of a banner brick on 3.2 with starfall without modchip?
No1 has really mentioned it*

No one should be mad about buying SaveMii anyways, as it is a very nice "plug-n-play" solution. You don't have to make anything yourself or tear anything apart. It comes pre-made at a very small cost, and does what it says it does, and looks really cool.

It's also well established by several of us that he, indeed, is one hell of an asshole, so this doesn't come as a surprise.

Well said. I've been saying this to everyone for a while. The guy is a nutter. We where pretty happy stocking wiininja ages ago - but the guy short shipped up on a couple of products, and never sent them again. When we asked him to send the missing items he pretty told us to 'stfu' as we are 'too small' to complain.

Missing items only cost about 60 euro...but his wanker attitude ended up costing him a relationship with us...the biggest wii modchip sellers in Australia.

Anyways, i find it funny - because the guys that made wiiboss (the inferface to open source modchips) where the first people to dump wiikey v1 code...and joked to Mr. Wiinja about dumping wiinja deluxe. Wiinja responded by threatening the guy, saying he has people in Australia that he knows well 'watch out of your wife and kids'

hehe. As I said, he a bit of a nutter.

if that true, this is pretty pathetic
and also crazy what "easy money" expectation can make people do

and some people here are bitching against bushing/marcan and their 1000 savemii copies
rolleyes.gif

how could you seriously think they made this to make easy money on your back ?

Don't mess with Mr Wiinja lol

hahahaha

Bad sh*t innit lol, never mind, you buy a savemii as your supporting the founders of homebrew so.....why feel let down or done by. + your supporting them for future hacks!!
I mean come on, we get these updates for FREE why not contribute....

I mean i still maintain any one who believes marcan/bushing or the full team twiizers crew are a bunch of C*nts, then GO AND DELETE ALL HOMEBREW, as you wouldnt of had it without Homebrew channel to begin with!

+Respect

Sorry marcan,

You took all this right into the wrong way... From now on how do you expect people to trust you / team tweezers?

I myself sought for help in both wiibrew forums and in your blog... you are not being of any help was just because you wanted to make more money out of this savemii business... Hell I ordered it... here is a transcript of my mail exchange with bushing, notice how he cuts the communication as soon as he hears about the datel freeloader disc...

zOMG, bushing fails at customer service. news at 11. (This is part of the problem of getting several hundred emails a day, some personal, some about SaveMii, and some about "real work". As marcan mentioned, I've been travelling out of the country for a week and a half, and didn't really have time to sit through and chew through all of my unread messages.)

In all seriousness, yours was one of the first 5 SaveMiis I sent out -- and I don't have any way of tracking them, since my options for shipping abroad look like:

* USPS First Class International: $2
* USPS Priority Mail International: $12
* USPS First Class International (Registered): $13

Guess which one I used to send out your SaveMii, as well as everyone else's? Guess which ones offer a tracking number I can use to help you figure out why you haven't received the device I sent you?

Marcan can ship using Registered Mail for a far more reasonable price, so I forwarded your address to him to have him try sending you one; hopefully that will work out better.

I'm sorry to see that you think that I freeze up at the mention of Freeloader -- I told you over PM on the Wiibrew forums that Datel was nice enough to actually send me a couple of free copies of the newest NTSC/U Freeloader. They did that almost a month ago, and right before I left on my trip I was able to pop it in my Wii and see that it did have a splash screen and does change that splash screen in response to a file on the SD card. I intend to take some nice video caps of that and write up a nice blog post, but I was neither in a position to do that nor to mail you out another SaveMii when you wrote me.

Please don't take it personally -- it's what happens when you have a couple of amateurs trying to make and sell an honest, useful product; I guess we'd have been better off leaving it to "professionals".

so after all of these senseless crap, will you be sending another one or should I just apply for a refund? it's been over 5 weeks...

ps: also sent this to [email protected].. guess it will be chewed along with the wholesale inquiries...

Just to be cleared:
1. Do I need to have to Twilight Hack installed in my saved files on the Wii?
2. If I get a brick (I have Starfall), would it be enough just by pressing "Y" and inserting Zelda?
3. What else??

Well, you need to have Twilight Hack installed to be able to run any homebrew tools to repair System Menu. If not you could still of course play games from recovery menu; just not reach system menu.
