You put the region as NTFS-U. NTFS is for NT file system. The region is NTSC-U.

Twilight Princess HD works perfect.
Backup + restore on others wii u works.

Edit: eeeh nvm, after restarting the wiiu your old save appears.

Edit 2: Ok it works indeed perfect.
After using someone elses savegame, you have to Save once to keep the saves. If you turn off the Wii U without saving with the Savegame before, the Wii U will restore your original save.

Super Smash Bros worked very well for me (PAL)
A friend gave me his save with 100% unlocked and I restored it with SaveMii on my Wii U and had everything.
