ROM Hack Save Soul Silver rom JAP Soul to use with rom in English

Good night, i would like that you help to solve this problem: i use Soul Silver rom JP patched in version 4.5 and wanted to switch to the rom in English. I tried using the same archive name .sav (checking the name of Rom and giving the name of the sav) but did not work.
Do you know any thing that i can do?

Do it like this:

4749 - Pokémon HeartGold (U)(Xenophobia).nds
4749 - Pokémon HeartGold (U)(Xenophobia).sav

Wouldn't it be better to put SoulSilver in the file name instead?

But I saw something...

If you have

- Pokemon Soul Silver (or Heart Gold) (U).nds (US Rom)
- Pokemon Soul Silver (or Heart Gold) (J).nds (Japanese Rom)

with a japanese sav named "Pokemon Soul Silver (or Heart Gold) (U).sav"

You can open the same sav with Japanese and US version...

With the japanese rom to download japanese event
With the US Rom to play all time and of course download US Event.


Usally I did this with
- Pokemon Soul Silver (J).nds
- Pokemon Heart Gold (F).nds
- Pokemon Heart Gold (F).sav (but it's a japanese Soul Silver sav)


So, I got Ash's Pikachu on my party o/
