Hi guys,

Does anyone know how to make DSTWO recognize the save game from original cartridge?

I used savsender and savreceiver (Choosing m3 type). Successfully (or so I thought) grab the savegame from the original cartridge. the size is 524kb.
It didn't have the file extension, so I named it manually (eg: Test.sav)

Then I renamed the sav file to the same as ROM name, (used capital letters SAV as well for that matter). But the game does not recognize the save game.

I've used the shunyweb converter website as well and it still does not work.

Anybody has any idea on this? Please help

Thanks a bunch

Radiant Historia.

Yeah, if I save using DSTWO, the file size match.

Is there anything I miss here? Usually it works just fine?

Kindly help me with this, it's a painful experience to re-play it and wasted a good 14 hours+.

The original cartridge now is with my brother back in UK

You need to make sure the filename is the exact same as the filename of the ROM (including .nds IIRC). Just make a new save and then rename your old one to what the new one is, overwrite.

Hi Terminator,

I did exactly that. I am going to try again.

Prior to this, after I renamed the file according to the DS ROM, the game couldn't find any saved game.

So I actually do not need to convert the save game?

And I was thinking probably the savreceiver somehow was corrupted. Somebody here have the working savreceiver?

Hi Terminator,

Yeah I guess I'll try that instead of savreceiver / savsender.

I'll post back here with results.
Thanks!
