Fak, i updated to 6.2;

When we are able to use CFW for 6.2 what's the probability of being banned if i just edit saves?
I have a switch that is able to be jigg'd.

The probability is high mostly if they can find out that your console was modded at some point.
The saves themselves should be pretty safe unless you do something outrageous, it must mostly be other players reporting or you disrupting the online experience... For the servers is no different from you playing in airplane mode, leveling a bit, getting some items and connecting again.

When we get into item generation/edition then it may be easier to detect, but basic things like exp and such are not, again, there's a higher chance that Nintendo just picks up that your console is modded than the save file itself.

Then again, you'd be basically one of the pioneers in getting modded saves online, so no clue what would happen. An alternative is to mod a character on a banned switch and use it to boost your legit character on couch coop, but depending on what you do if you get on the leaderboards things could go two ways:

- you'll get inspected and banned
- Blizzard doesn't care about console leaderboards and nothing happens.

Considering how many botters plague the PC leaderboards I'm leaning towards option 2. In any case if you can somehow provide a save of a seasonal character this will allow us to spoof seasonal characters for banned users, I cannot do it myself as all my consoles are banned already :D

Yeah there’s no way blizzard will take that sort of action, if anything they MIGHT patch some stuff around. Just wondering if It’s worth modding my switch to edit saves for online.

Figured I'd create an account to post this question. I have a newer model of the Switch, so I find it much more difficult to get homebrew/Checkpoint working on it (or am at the very least, too lazy to figure it out).

Is it possible for me to "commission" the abilities of one of you here to edit a save game for my own personal use?

I mean if you have a newer switch you can't restore or extract your own save file, since there's no solution yet for the newer firmware, so can't really be done.

Quick question guys, if I have a hacked switch and a "legit" one with 6.2 firmware can i save edit the hacked one and play local to trade all the mats with the "legit" one ?

sure if u use Checkpoint with the online switch or sync the saves with the hacked :-)

Anyone on 6.2 and having issues with the game crashing due to "corrupted save found"?
