ROM Hack .Sav save managing

Can anyone tell me a game that saves their savegames into a .sav file and has got a save editor program in the pc?

The file extension used for saves depends on your emulator. Most use .sav, but DeSmuME uses .dsv.

As for a save file editor, I only know of game specific ones, such as PokeGen for the Pokemon games.
