Hacking .sav idea

It appears that some games seem to have problems with saves. Not that I'm into hard work, but if a card had 10 game x .nds, could a user just create 10 games x .sav (keeping the .sav's case sensitive) - to avoid save problems? Just a thought! This could probably be done by changing the extension on a .txt file - Maybe?
