Following this since I have the same issue, removed all my other sys modules and content patches in atmosphere

Hey matey.

I ended up getting it to work. It was odd after rebooting my OLED switch it would always work if I quit RDR and started it again and tried again it wouldn’t work.. so I ended up with a clean build of AMS etc and now all good.

Salty NX doesnt work anymore?
whenever I enable it my games wont load

edit: Silly me I just had to delete the plugins folder in SaltySD\
didnt know that cause I updated Salty via Homebrew Menu

Still having problem with SaltyNX and NXFps.
When I try to use NXFPS,my switch just " freeze" and I have to hard reset.
Any help?

If I use Status Monitor with SaltyNX off, I don't have any problems.
I can see temps,RAM etc...
If I turn On Salty NX and NX FPS,when I try to use Status Monitor my switch just "freeze" and I have to Hold the power button to force him to turn off.
I have deleted the archives you mentioned before,but I still having problems.

1. You have updated Status Monitor, SaltyNX and Atmosphere to newest versions?
2. Did you delete elf plugins from SaltySD/plugins folder?
3. Did you delete all unnecessary sysmodules?

3 = Honestly Idk. I don't know if there is anything related, but when I updated Atmosphere I chose to do a "clean install".
If this is not related, how do I delete these unnecessary sysmodules? I'm new when it comes to unlocking the Switch, so I'm a little lost.

Delete anything you don't need. The most hungry ones are sys-ftpd and sys-screenuploader, emuiibo also sometimes conflicts with SaltyNX.

I've noticed that both NX-FPS and UnityGraphics have been archived, the former even recommends to delete the plugin. Does this mean they are deprecated? Are there any other up-to-date plugins one could take a look at for the 'best practices' type code? Thanks in advance!

NX-FPS is merged with SaltyNX since 0.7.0, UnityGraphics was archived because I don't want to help with it.

If you want to make plugin for specific game, I recommend to use Exlaunch.

SaltyNX was updated to 0.7.2 version

• Fix compability issues with updated rtld's ModuleObject struct (fixes crash in Tomb Raider I-III Remastered)
• Add Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze to exceptions (heap issues from second level)
• Updated in sysmodule retrieving BID from games with updated rtld (such as Tomb Raider I-III Remastered)
• Removed some deadlocks from sysmodule

Cheers to lazy asses who did not report this first to me, but they just announced everywhere to add this game to exceptions or disable SaltyNX. Because why bother.

Does any of it work on FW 17? Or should I just update to 16.0.1 on mine?

I'm actually still using like FW 15 with old stuff and it's working fine even latest Expeditions Mudrunner game is working fine after just updating Hekate + atmosphere even though the game requires like FW 17 or 17.0.1 no idea...

That's a sure thing, however I'm on FW 15.0.0 which probably no one is even using by now.

It's already on FW like 17.0.1 or whatever, I might be loosing a lot of those "performance and stability improvements" from Nintendo


Edit: now after updating SaltyNX to 0.7.2 trough HB APP Store every single game crash.

I'm on Erista V1 emunand FW 15.0.0 and latest atmosphere + latest Hekate.

What should I do? (Later I will manually install it trough PC when I have time to see if it works)

Edit2: FORGET ABOUT IT, I didn't read the dragons part

But now I likely need a new ReverseNX-RT overlay but will check all later when I get to the PC...
