So is there anyway of test the wads before installing it maybe in the sd channel cuz im on 4.1u

As of right now the only way to Know if it's bad is install it and have preloader installed in case of it messing up. Cios rev 14 with NAND emulation will be able to test wads safely b4 u install but have Bo idea whn it's gonna be out.

ok so bootmii is a good program I because it helps you if you mess up your wii correct? I have a 3.1u wii so should I install it just in case I do something wrong?

Can somebody answer that ?

Will System format from Wii settings virginize Wii as a factory state ?

Huh? Why shouldnt you format your wii via the wii settings?

Don'ts: (These will likely lead you to a brick)
Delete system menu.
Delete any IOS' (especially those used by system menu - IOS9,11,20,30,50,52,60).
Bold these. Italicize these. CAPS these. Make them SIZE 7. There are far too many posts to the effect of "i upgraded to 4.0 then i couldn't play my pireted strong bad so I got rid of all my ioses cause i thought that getting rid of the upgraded ios would make strong bad work again NOW ITS BRICKED HALP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Formatting your wii can brick it if you have homebrew
Its not always the case, but there is a chance
(If you have preloader, it will brick for sure)

Very Important stuff to note.

what is wrong/dangerous about downgrading?

It bricks boot2v4 Wiis?

I've Downgraded my 4.2 wii to 4.1, no brick.
boot2v4 isn't equal to have a LU64+ wii, 'cause LU64+ wiis have an updated version of boot1, wich prevents the using of older IOSes, so if you have a wii 4.2 you can downgrade safely if it isn't LU64+, but in LU64+ you can't downgrade.

Maybe you can add:
Don't change wii region for fun
Don't off wii during update
Don't Update to 4.2
Don't use RestoreMii with NANDs (with patched keys) that are from other wiis.
Don't Install cIOSCORP if you don't know what you are doing

Install cIOS38 rev 14

It is true that you won't always brick when downgrading
But what would you possibly gain from it? Everything can be done on 4.2 and 4.1

If they work on 4.1 or 4.0 it doesn't count cause all Wii's (even LU64+) can safely downgrade to those versions
I'm talking about downgrading to

I'm on 4.2 and using the Rock Band DLC hacks. I just updated to the latest gen4 DLC with no problems.
