Hacking Safe to perform System Transfer?

My old3DS recently broke. I have received a replacement, but must know whether or not a System Transfer is safe and whether or not I must do anything before the transfer. In case anyone was wondering, my old3DS is running 11.3.0 with Luma and my newer system is fresh out of the box running 11.2.0 stock.

I was just wondering whether or not to perform a Transfer and the stuff I may have to do before it. Never did I mention ANYTHING about System Update.

Oh, install A9LH then do a system transfer from your old one to the new one.
