I am trying to install Rxtools on my little bros. 3ds. I have all the files, but can someone hook me up with a firmware.bin file? Or give me the solution of the cdn_firm error?

Here's a tip; don't use RxTools. Luma3DS is much easier to setup, takes up a lot less space, and gets frequent updates. Here's a link to Luma3DS. https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/releases
Copy luma3DS.dat to the root of your SD card, as well as the /luma/ folder and the homebrew application provided. Place this firmware.bin in /luma/.
OLD 3DS firmware.bin
New 3DS firmware.bin

When you want to get into your emuNAND, simply launch Luma3DS from the homebrew menu.

No! You guys dont understand! I am trying to install A9LH on my little bros o3DS, but browser hax doesnt work! I just got finished downgrading to 9.2 so i am trying to install rxtools so i can get homebrew access.

You can do that on all CFW's and there's more than just RXtool with actual support

Yeah luma3ds does just that but is better, easier to install AND prevents random FATAL errors from old software. The best part is you get the easiest cfw with the BEST features out there! AND to top it off has a cia to auto update it, and if you are doing a9lh PLEASE don't use another guide or do it blind use plialects guide

Wow, this thread got thrown off topic. I thought this was supposed to be about setting up rxtools, not deciding on a custom firmware. I use it just fine, and I really don't see what the issue is. Installed it on my friend's too, told him how to use it. No issues anywhere (except for his 2gb sd card).

Nowhere are we forcing and it has been stated above to place the firmware files. We are only recommending him a much better in our opinion option. We are not doing the margen where it is LUMA3DS OR REPORTED M8

there is a python file in the rxtools kit that downloads the firmware.bin file. Just install python 2.6, since the firmware.bin can't be posted on here.

well, you might not be, but i am saying thats the way I've seen others start going about it. And i don't recall him asking for a different cfw reccomendation...

says who? for all you know, it could keep working indefinitely (until something catastrophic happens to the 3ds). not to mention, there are people still reworking rxtools, and I don't recall luma having a splash screen. (but prove me wrong for all i care)
