You'll need to install AGB_FIRM and TWL_FIRM patches to your SysNAND, see here for AGB firm.
I thought you couldn't install anything like that on OFW/Sysnand? Hence why the sploit was needed...

Trying GBA? won't work.
Try DSiWare? Won't work.
Tried regularly installed .cia's? won't work.

So far, this CFW is batting 0/10.

And just now the thing KP's when trying to launch the sploit to go into emunand and restarted. so it can't even keep its own exploits straight.:whip:

You can boot pasta mode using rxTools and it'll let you install stuff to SysNAND. It's also worth noting that MSET is almost never used anymore, and is replaced with autoboot via menuhax (but that needs 9.2).

Well, now rxtools won't even try to launch at all.

was also trying to get help here regarding my 20gig ps3, which IMO is a little more critical than this. At least my Gateway 3DS still works as intended, even if I can't launch my GBA or DSiware.

This is just making my blood boil unnecessarily with how stupid it's all being.

MSET is the exploit that lets you boot CFW via the menu.

Menuhax is an exploit that automatically boots CFW when you turn your 3ds on, but you need to be on 9.0-9.2

You'll need to install AGB_FIRM to SysNAND in order to play your GBA games.

You'll want to edit the link out of your quote as well.
Sorry, my bad.

Yes, let's see. It wants me to use something called 3DNUS, which I never heard of, to install titles to sysnand, which is much more likely to brick the system, and leave me with a paperweight. Of which (to my knowledge) there is no way to install anything directly to sysnand.

I'm already down a PSP because the shell replacement broke to bits in reassembly. And it still doesn't address the DSiware stuff that I do legitimately own.

You can go to that ISO site (can't link it here - it's the name of the console + ISO .com) to get the patches without 3DNUS. You need to install patches to SysNAND or GBA will not work.

I've been to that ISO site. I stopped going there because everything is ruined with anti-adblock pay walls.

And my google fu was already bad enough finding rxtools in the first place. This is aggravating me so much right now, that I am quickly finding less reasons to continue to bother, especially when the CFW path is so unreliable to begin with.

Well, to try and keep a long story as short as possible... been dealing with a lot of aggravating problems that i can't seem to get resolved in a timely fashion. Pulled away from handling this CFW thing on the 3DS, but at present, this is currently about the closest to a problem I can solve in a timely fashion, assuming things go correctly.

Debating whether to make a new thread or not, mostly because at this point, clearly RxTools is not doing its job, and I need something that is actually going to work here. The problem is, I don't know what actually would work.

All I know is, I was tempted to give CFW a try because I was made to understand that I would finally be able to get my GBA and DSiWare working that way, where standard Gateway mode currently does not. I was also made to believe that I would be able to install and run them the same way, using the same emuNAND, so I never have to touch the sysNAND.

So, short of making a new thread, what - if any - CFW should I even try at this point? And what do I need to do to make it actually work like it's supposed to? I could maybe give Rxtools another try, but after all the hot mess I went through a couple of days ago, it's already left a sour taste in my mouth, so I don't even know if I should bother.
