Hacking rxTools wont install data suite (Old 3ds 9.0)

Hi there,

i have installed the HBL and Menumanager successfully.

When i start the rxtools it says install data suite.

It trys to install it but fails on the third dot.

The new message is Installation Failed.

I have tried this a few times (Reformated and started from the beginning) but still cant install or launch rxtools. I have also tried differend Versions of Rxtools.

I have used the Python file to download the Firmware.bin and moved it to the sys folder.

Does anyone else have this problem too?

Hi guys! I have same problem and I want find solution. I have tried to install rxtools by code.bin and it always failed. "Rrdtool" folder doesn't have any "firm" folder. I can create it, but what does it contents?

Then I have install rxtools 2.6 by rxtools.dat and it was successful, but there is appeared problem with tmd file (dont show version of tmd).

Run cdn_firm.py in in the "Tools" folder. It will generate either a firm folder or a few files that must be put in a folder named "firm". The firm folder must go into the rxTools folder like so: SD:/rxtools/firm

Delete "data" folder in rxTools folder and try aigain !

What is your complete firmware ? And which rxtools version do you use ?

6) Find the firmware.bin ont the internet, the MD5 MUST be A9DCD99A360E8629810F8ED08403D746
7) Put the Firmware.bin in Rxtools/sys

do i need to put the firmware.bin in another folder except rxtools/sys ?

My Firmware is 9.0.0.20E on the Old 3ds.

No need "firmware.bin" with the last built, take the last an : rxTools Nightlies

firmware is 7.1.0-15e.I dont know about rx version because I downloaded popular pack with cias and tools.
Now I try to understand all and if you tell me where I can download the best new version of rxtoos I will be gratefull.

and do this after :

Have you the "slot0x25KeyX.bin" on root of your SD cart ?

Yes i have deleted everything and used the latest nightly build (4 days ago)
