Ignore my previous guide, it is for people who don't have a gateway. You didn't answer. Do you have BBM,devmenu,FBI or any other cia installer installed on your gw emunand?

So in order to install the rxtools ( I have gateway), we need to be in the regular sysnand ( Turning on 3ds - Dont launch Gateway Exploit Mode), or Gateway Emunand ( Launch Gateway Exploit, Use Browser inside Gateway Emunand CFW to install rxtools?)

I have a 3ds version of FBI. No CIA etc installed. Launched through multi-launcher

You need to install it as a cia, because you won't be able to use your gateway to boot it in rxMode.

You can still use CIA DLCs on Gateway though.



The guy asking for a noob friendly tutorial already has his gateway set up.

Still a valid reason for opting for this, gives you a chunk of plastic to sell off to some sucker

- Use the 3ds version of FBI to install the cia one on your emunand.

Don't knwo how far of an extent you need but yes, It boots up the application itself

You need to choose your firmware.

can't even do that, so i assume it's down. I get the TOC on the top but the bottom portion just blank for now

You must choose your sysnand version here, not the emunand one.

Yes, except for 3ds roms, this can do everything gateway can do and even more.
