Rumor: Sonic playable in Super Mario Galaxy 2

So would Sega's logo have to be slapped on this game? I'm not sure about licensing issues, but it seems like a hell of a stretch to think they'd go through the trouble for this. Yes, Mario and Sonic have been in the same games before, but not bumping each others series. We don't even see Nintendo characters from different series in each others games (and wouldn't Fox McCloud be more appropriate for Galaxy anyway?

Unless they're planning a Kingdom Hearts type thing (which would be lame anyway, considering how this is a Mario platformer) it would be extremely out of place to have exactly one crossover character. So I tend to not believe it.

There was that one game that sega made, i think it was called seoul? you had a sword and you could equip two animals behind you and they gave the sword different powers depending on what you had equipped, The Lion and the Penguin was the best combo XD, Sonic was in that game though.
But as you state, That was a Sega game, not a Ninty.

Thats why Ninty makes games like Super Smash Bros! Whoot whoot!
