I don't know what to think, on one hand there might be a movie of one of my favorite video game franchises, on the other, it may be directed by someone like James Wan (Guy who directed "Saw").

I'm torn.

Oh, I misread the first post. So it's not being directed by the maker of Saw? Well I just wiki'd this Miike and he's directed alot of films, so I'm not as worried now.

Saw wasn't always bad. And I wasn't really comparing the two, its just that the movies that both created were violent and controversial.

Well Japan's done musicals for Phoenix Wright though totally destroyed canon.

Though I'm NEVER going to forgive for the Dragon Ball movie that RAPED my childhood, I'm not sure about the movie on PW. At least it's more believable than DB but I really would have wanted an anime or god forbid, Gyakuten Saiban 5 than a live action.

A movie portraying any one of the games would far exceed 3 hours.

if its true i would imagine the movie would follow only one case, not a game. as for if it will be any good, i suppose its really down to the script, that was one of the biggest attractions to the games
