Roommates, valentine's day, and random rambles

Ewwwwwww....my rooommates....They are discussing sexual drive in men. Apparently one of my roommates says that eating bananas increases sexual drive (libido) in men. Suddenly, I'm glad I don't eat bananas. I have youtube cranked up, so I don't have to deal with them discussing erections. (Ewwwww...) And they were discussing if it is ethical to feed their men bananas if they didn't know it's apparent effects. (You know, for two virgins, they are sure a horny bunch...*eyeroll*)

These are the same roommates who started discussing "M" (Hong Kong slang for premenstrual syndrome - cramps, headaches and the like), and thought the girl who was discussing it was talking about S&M - sadomashtic sexual practices. Sometimes I think it's funny what idle minds will think of.

I'm also watching amazing amounts of Mythbusters on youtube. Freaking amazing. Love Kari Byran, and also Scottie (the tattooed welding Mythtern). Very drool worthy.

Also, for Valentine's Day, I'm sending my girl a package with "pac-man post its", personalized Cross pens (god, those were expensive, but they are nice - I might buy myself a set), stickers with the kanjii for tiger and the astrology sign for Capricon (sp?), and the stamps that created those two images. She loves retro gaming and astrology and I think it would be a very well recieved gift. Oh, and a stuffed dog - which isn't going in the mail yet - too big for my envelope.

PS - I'm thinking about creating a short film with my girlfriend and I singing "All the Men in My Life" from Evil Dead the musical. I'd have two parts - the lead female, and one of the guys. Unfortunately, Windows Movie maker can't handle .mov files - and I need something better to deal with it! And preferably free!



PPS - I'm going to purchase Pokemon HG - even though I'm tired of Pokemon. Yes, I'm a hypocrite, but I want the Pokewalker.

That's two counts of "EW" and one of finding joy in not eating something that potentially increases sexual drive in men.

Your "ew"s make it clear that you are in fact, disgusted by the talk of male sexuality. What you just said about how your roommates would be disgusted by your talking of lesbian sex is an implication that since straight people do it to gays, it's okay for you, a lesbian to do it to straight people. Oh, Wrath, what is considered to be one of the seven deadly sins. Did you want to go ahead and make fun of some heterosexuals because gays are still persecuted in most parts of the world? Might I remind you that if it wasn't for heterosexuals, you wouldn't even exist?

I find that little comment about being "glad [you] don't eat bananas" COMPLETELY unnecessary. If something affects the drive of MALES, why the hell should you care about it when you are a FEMALE and are constantly talking about how you're a girl who loves girls? It's like a guy saying "I heard green M&Ms make girls horny. I'm sure glad I don't eat green M&Ms."

Clearly, you have something against heterosexuals, possibly MALES in general.

Kari's fun to watch and for an editing program I recommend Sony Vegas, you can get a torrent of it unless you want to pay $600. I got mine through the university for $50 although I'm not a Mass Media Major.
