Hi guys,

I was wondering whether anyone could answer a few questions about Rominator the DS organizing program.

I'm having trouble with a few functions:

- The Cheat Database Update function

- The Backup Save File function

The cheat database function won't work for me, and the backup save file won't even come up. It's supposed to come up when you right click a .nds file, but its not working. It wouldn't work for me last night, and then it worked, and now it won't work for me again. What am I doing wrong? So far I've added my DSTT onto the list and a folder called ROMs under the name NDS Games. everything works fine except those functions.

Help please.

Thanks.

When I had my R4, I had similar problems to this so I stopped using it.. I have researched it a little bit but have found no answers..

Have a look through here and you may find a solution..

Hope I helped

Curley it won't work for me =="

I need to install it and my dad will kill me if he finds out I've been installing crap on his computer o_O

Do you know any other programs?

Not really.. Nothing apart from Rominator Im afraid.. That doesnt need to be installed.. Are you sure Romintor doesnt work.. Have a read through the site and see if you can find a solution..

I'm not sure where to find it. I looked through the FAQs and the rest is pretty much the same as the Quickstart Guide that hankchill put with the zip file.

EDIT:

Also, Rominator cannot read the games unless they are all in the same folder.

The website also states the following:

QUOTE said:
Why should I worry about Games Location? Well, the games location is used if you have all of your games in one central folder. There is an option in the settings that will copy all imported roms to that games list into that central folder.

I don't have all my games in one central folder. All my games (on my microSD card) are in their own folders. Each game has their own folder, and the folders are on the root. Do I absolutely HAVE to chuck everything in one folder? *sigh* There goes half an hour of homeworking =="

Good idea DarkRey.. The only problem is that his Dad may find out and he may get into trouble.. But if its the only way, you may have to make do with it Hehe Moo or just not bother with it..

Unless another alternative comes up, I cant think of a positive solution..
