Use FBI network install?

You can use the LayeredFS files instead of a modded .cia.
Yes it doesn't work

I am wondering, why it is not possible to install the 4.2 GB .cia File with FBI...
4,294,967,295 bytes is the maximum for FAT32 so it should work.

I always thought it was 4gb even. nothing more than 4.0gb. Its been a issue before with a lot of the pokemon usum games that people have had issues with before.

I think it's actually 4 GiB, or just under 4.3 GB. For whatever reason they're used interchangeably a lot, but they are not the same thing. This is why drives that say 1 GB are 1024 MiB (or 1073 MB but you don't actually measure in "megabytes"). And why your 1 GB is 1,073,741,824 bytes and not 1,000,000,000. Data isn't counted in multiples of 10. Base for data is 1024.

When Windows says GB it means GiB, or a gibibyte, because data isn't counted in multiples of 10s. Rather than base 1000 it used 1024 as a base.
