Hacking ROM Trimming and saves

If I have a save with a full-size ROM, will it still work with a Trimmed ROM? I mean, like, the exact same ROM sent through a trimming tool, same name, different size.

The save doesn't care if a rom is trimmed or not. Just make sure the filenames match and it will work.

I have tried it on the G6 lite and the M3 Simply. It works just fine.
