We're talking about the action replay by code junkies correct? Although i can dump roms with my 3DS i can't dump this one, it doesn't fit in the new 3ds slot which is my problem. But it should be able to fit in the old 3ds. If it had a9lh installed you can use hourglass9 to dump NDS roms.

Yeah, I have a o3DS with a9hl and decrypt9 installed, but I'm too lazy too dump it right now.

I know that, just making sure we are on the same page. You buy it from the website.

Anyway why would a rom exist? If you have flashcarts, the idea of a rom is pointless, it already can use cheats. It would explain why no one ever published a rom dump. Not to mention how would you use it? Swapping roms the way the action replay requires isn't possible on flash cart. The game needs to be rest to do that.

I am not sure what, if anything, of great interest they will contain. As others speculated the modern ones, if dumped by conventional tools, will contain little more than the protection bypass game ( https://hackmii.com/2010/02/lawsuit-coming-in-3-2-1/ for more on that).
I know some of those working in cheats had various memory dumps they poked around to do things like http://doc.kodewerx.org/hacking_nds.html#arcodehacks . I don't know how public any of those dumps and anything gained from it ever became.


If were thinking can I run the action replay and use it on my real games then no, you can however do that with nitrohax

Personally I would dump saves from my real games and use them to cheat on ROMs/emulators, and maybe then flash the save back, but to each their own.
