if i switch an english rom to a european rom can i still use the same .sav file to play the same game or do i need to start a new game?

I think it all depends on file name?

Saves work between the different regional releases of some games, but not others. The only way to find out if it works for a particular game is to try it.

because i have very slow internet and it takes me about an hr to download a game thats 15mb and not doing anything other than waiting for the download,
imagine downloading a 46.6mb game like Dragon ball z attack of the sayains
