I own both the Ally rog and Ally rog x. I love it tbf, had the X on day 1, and it's an amazing bit of kit, great for travelling etc, and allows me to double stack games now. Minecraft/Golf with friends etc. If you can, and you want to play the xbox on the go, then i'd definitely recommend getting one, but if you can definitely get the X rather than the lower Ally.
