M92T was replaced and verified good the day before — board worked fine. Did a PicoFly Kamikaze install the next day and now I get a short short error (reset line) stuck at first stage boot. SP1 and SP2 caps came off during the install; I applied heavy pressure at SP1 as the flex wouldn't adhere. PicoFly is now fully removed but the fault remains on the bare board.
All power rails are good: VSYS >4V, 3V3, 1.8V, 1.1V, 0.86V. One rail reads 0V (should be ~1.3V) but isn't shorted — believed to be a sequenced rail that only comes up past first stage boot.
Reset line tests healthy despite the error: not shorted to ground, not shorted to neighbouring balls, ~0.39V diode on front and back (so the APU connection seems intact), full surface path continuous. CMD/CLK/DAT0 all good, though all my diode readings sit ~0.05V above my reference board.
Missing caps SP1 and SP2 were replaced — none of the pads are shorted to ground.
Before cleaning with flux remover the APU was warming and pulling ~1A (trying to boot). After cleaning it went cold and now only pulls 0.4A. Feels like cleaning removed a bridge or disturbed a joint — it was closer to working before.
