Gaming River King Frustration

GRR. I want to play this game terribly bad. I had the first one for GAMEBOY years ago...so much fun...this looks great, but everything in the universe is against me having it.

So is a drive to the next nearest big city to get it? Spoke with a guy there yesterday who claimed he was holding it in his hand.

It is being released at a RRP budget price of £19.99. Amazon has it for £16.99. Should be the same or a little less at play.com only with free posting.

I'll test it first with a ROM to see if it's any good. Scared to buy games without testing after Rayman 2 and Spyro. They were bad.

Most DS games go to about that price online after a month of being released at play.com, FF:CC is now £18 . If I do buy any games I like I usually import them, usually a tenner cheaper including shipping.

I just have a lot of faith in the series, Natsume has not blown people away with harvest moon, but I've enjoyed them. River King had that same aura about it or something, and was a nice distraction a long time ago.

This is frustrating.. what the heck is up with the distro teams.. Normally I can pre-test a game and see if it'll be worth buying and then go buy it. Like the pic above I tried to buy it.. it's nowhere in town for purchase.

Its out though. It released on the 22nd. Some of my locals didnt get any in on day one because they had no pre-orders. All the sites claiming it is supposed to release on the 29th are just dumb or slow.

Yeah this game doesn't seem be readily available. The local shops in my area which usually have some of the most obscure games right on release.

Hopefully we are graced with a dump soon.
