Rise of The Kasai HD Texture Pack

A high definition texture pack for the Playstation 2 game "Rise of The Kasai" The exciting (albeit a little undercooked) sequel to the critically acclaimed classic "The mark of Kri"
For use with the PCSX2 emulator. I used mostly 2x ESRGAN for 3D. I'll update if I missed anything, if anyone can get me a 100% save file I can do the arenas and extra costumes.
But all levels are DONE! and tested. If you see something say something and I'll fix it. Until then enjoy Tati's............... Physics

There are 2 versions of this texture pack, one with (shittily) upscaled menu vignettes and one without. a difference of over 7000 images and a few hundred Megs.
Make a SCUS-97416 folder in your "textures" folder of your PCSX2 main directory. Download either version, extract the "replacements" folder to your SCUS-97416 folder and Enjoy! Be sure to activate texture replacements.

You are toooo awesome, Darth. Kri was all i could ask for...Though undercooked, Kasai will complete the Cult classic duology w the T-Pax. Ur one of the gods of Fan service, Mate.

FYI I've updated both packs today 2/2/24, I forgot a few of the level maps.
I also included the dump folder with the update so Y'all can play with the textures, keep in mind this is a raw dump and includes many textures that don't work YMMV.
If anyone wants to hook me up with a save file with all arenas and costumes unlocked I'll be more than happy to do the upscale on those as well, I'm just busy with other things (booze, work, fam).

DarthDarklorD thank you so much for this pack! I'm in the same boat as some of the other guys ie maybe the second one isn't quite as good as the first, but I still want the duology looking/playing as good as possible. On that note I did want to ask you and my fellow Mark of Kri/Rise of the Kasai fans... Y'all stumbled across a 60fps code for this one anywhere? I've peeked in a few threads and haven't seen one. Mark of Kri seems to maybe have an unlocked framerate and just runs at 60fps without any changes, but Rise of the Kasai is definitely a little chunkier and I guess locked to 30fps. Regardless, appreciate the texture pack man, looks great!
