That and as soon as someone figures out a way to place the USB gecko hooks into the system as a more permanent thing. so as to enable instant system debugging and allow debugging of games through the disk channel right away. lol

Ok... so my "backup" wii has these hacks installed... I was too tired last night to go on reading my pm's to test it... kinda glad i did in a way since yesterday's big mishap with my official stuntwii....
Good work fellas.... I just reclassified about 15 dvds from the coaster pile... Too bad I threw away a bunch of other PAL games I had burned... discs aren't nothing to replace though... Good to know I can download more PAL games.. seems like PAL is more abundant in the torrent scene...


Anyways... I am not touching my Wii's hacks for until someone says they got game language games forced and loading through disc channel... I don't even think this will happen.. but they thought loading from disc channel would never happen natively to softmodded wii either... So what's next guys?! Any ideas?? Wait for BiteMii?!

Get a really nice multi-OSed Wii when BootMii (BIOS) comes...

At power on.. you will get these choices....

1) Run your hacked Nintendo OS - (Riskii style)
2) Run TeamTwiizzer's Homebrew IOS
3) Run PC OS Linux distro, possibly an old Windows OS??!!

How awesome will this be?? And with BootMii you would probably be able to control just about any device
plugged into your USB port. So this will all be really nice for us that choose to wait for this to happen.

Why did I say Bootmii AKA BIOS? Because that is what BootMii with ultimately be.

Which step do we start at?

DoI just download anyregion changer? or get the hacks.ini also?

Grab the whole pack, then what i did was reinstall my system menu to disable/remove preloader, then ran the hacks.ini remover. Then I started at step 13, run any region changer

i already had starfall and CIOSCORP playing regionfree ! but i felt out the loop , so i just started at number 13 and all is good !

OPTIONAL, fix your MIOS to an older better version.

33) Restart your wii with RESET button and HOLD IT

34) Click "load installed DOL"

35) Highlight "System Titles" and Press A

36) Highlight the one with 00000101(MIOS)

37) Press A to select and again to confirm deletion of it

38) Reboot the wii by holding power until it shuts off then powering back up

39) Run HBC and WadManager

40) Install wad03 and Profit!!!!! (this is a older more "useable" MIOS.)

DONE.

i thought id read most things , but this is new to me ! 2 questions

1. what is the benefits ?
2. how can i check to see if i already have this ?

3. do i really need to know or care ? lol

ok i get hbc to load and it jumps so im in a pal mode and yes i wached my vid of me doing this i did patch it to mpal
was reading and well dols load but i get no pic

Goku - Bear with me - im workin on fixing the mpal issue....will post back soon. Twlight hack is obsolite now it no longer is reconized by zelda.

Anyway - im about to do a system update to try and rectify the problem as i cant see how i can fix it.

Ive got the same as you on 1 of my wiis - the whole screen is scrambled but you can work out how ups and downs it is to the required option. correct?

If so, i'll find out for you.

Main thing is that the old MIOS will let you use Gamecube Action Replay and Freeloader discs that were blocked in the newer updates.
