really more of an optional step, but what the heck? I dont see people grabbing their disc channel and twirling it around the screen all the time, but im kinda old and not down with todays trendy trends.

yeah but everyone loves customization, might as well get as much as we can until we can skin or remake our system menus. anyone who has already done this thread successfully and wants to add this feature only needs to do the following
Run anyregion changer, same instructions as the pack
run menu patcher, select channel moving
run preloader
run cioscorp installer again (or just the ios30 via wadmanager)
done

...and probably somewhere in there run the preloader hacks uninstaller before trying to reinstall them....maybe? thats a weird prog....it has more little random bugs than you can shake a stick at.

Oh and in case no one has noticed, when running games through disc channel regardless of region This does make the game name show up properly in the message board

passed out watchin ost last night, I have gone region free but only have ssx blur ntsc and it goes black after start. I will grab some others to test l8r.

You should uninstall the Starfall hacks, just in case.

Anyregionchanger will install a "fresh" 3.2 thus replacing the cioscorp ios, and gamma doesn't affect anything so you're good to go.

I thought I'd better try something else for luck first so I installed eeebuntu on my 901... it went fine.

So I'm installing now...... just at step 11. IOS downgrader.

Still no joy with Wii Music NTSC on a PAL Wii. I've tried PAL and MPAL on ARC...
Anyone got this to work on theirs? Not a huge deal because its the only out of region disc I have - it just would be nice...

That part after installing preloader and setting it up, and rebooting to system menu..... man that's a long 8 seconds with code on the screen....... I just about had a brick nevermind the wii

I can't believe how painless it was to install.

Word of warning to any newbies trying this.... Don't think that this makes you l337, it means that you are using something that has been tested extensively over the past couple of weeks and packaged properly (guide + files). Still be careful about what you install on your wii.

Fishears - Use ARC and change video console setting to ntsc, not pal or mpal.

DO NOT USE MPAL!

I have tested it and it works fine on my PAL wii set to NTSC video .

Only do this is you know what you are doing tho.

any region changer installs only the ios for system menu 3.2 and system menu 3.2 itself, it doesn't touch the other CIOS's. so you would still need to install the original ios's...

I think I have about every mod installed on my Wii now. I just installed the last parts of this pack (CIOSCORP, MIOSv3, DVD Dumper channel etc) and it works great. Good collection

yes you will. but there won't be any 576i output.
