Is the right rail or JoyCon modded to have the pins always bridged?

thanks for replying! im not sure what this means im very new to the switch scene
Ok then probably not. How are you accessing RCM mode? What are you using as a jig?
If you have been using tin foil, a paperclip or similar, you may have damaged the pins in the right rail.

Most jigs should be fine but some are paperclip based and paperclips are very stiff and can easily damage the pins if you're not careful.
if it is damaged is there anything i can do? i can still use the jig to enter rcm so that gives me some sort of hope

Should still work if you can get into RCM at all. Maybe you updated the joycon firmware while the pins were bridged? Has been known to prevent connecting. Have you ever used a method that relies on modding the joycon like tinfoil or bending its pins, or have you only ever used a rcm jig?
