ROM Hack Rhythm Heaven (U) Undub

Its like for every game that comes out.
Someone wants to undub it even if its for extremely minor things.

"OH NO I DON'T LIKE THIS ONE SOUND UNDUB PLZ"

My Japanophile senses are tingling.

I think its a waste of time but I can't force anyone to play it my way.

You know, sometimes dubs are just plane BAD.

I admit to being a huge BBC Radio nerd myself, so you can be sure that I love me some good English VA! Sadly it seems that only major titles (like the MGS series for example) get the proper VA treatment, niche games and most of anime have voice acting that makes me want to murder people!

But don't take my word, read\hear about SO4 and it's "atrocious voice acting". Remember that Star Ocean is quite popular in Japan and is made by the monstrous Square Enix! Note that this article is written by a non-Japanophile and a person who is not a big fan of JRPGs.

I haven't played many dubbed games lately, but the last game with great English VA that I can remember was Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, whoever dubbed that game did an AWESOME job, but sadly quality dubs lake that one are VERY rare.


I going to play this US version "straight" before I consider undubbing it, but this video makes me think "won't enjoy that one". In a rhythm game music matters the most (Captain obvious to the rescue) and there were songs in both Ouendan and EBA that I loathed, but the good outweighed the bad and it was fun.

Don't jump on the weeaboo-bashing bandwagon just yet, undubbing is not without merit.

yes. I played all levels and I found problems just with those... I hope!

Hmm if that's the case....
can we just replace the musics for the idol/popstar one and the other BAD dubbed musics only?
because the musics dubs that I found verry BAAD are the idol,the dazzles and the karate man(but I kinda like this one)... other than that are fine I think, and I love the dubbed rock&roll frog song

You should say half the songs, since that doesn't undub the remixes too.

wow... so much animosity. somebody here hates people who like japanese stuff... lol.

grabbing this one. i liked the japanese songs better anyways (especially the Kamone track).
