I've been using SNES9X on the 3ds and I love using the fast forward feature on SMW to skip some long text and complete some levels with challenge, but do you think its possible to add in a rewind feature in the future? That could be pretty useful if you dont make a jump or fail to do a specific glitch. It would be cool to see an update to emulators that will allow that feature.

Savestates work just fine for those things. Rewind would make emulators MUCH heavier spec-wise, as there would be a need to save the entire byte sequence for everything for the 10 or so seconds that MAY end up getting used for the rewind, totally not worth it.

Maybe an auto save state feature that would do a save state every x minutes?
Some emulators already have it. Wouldn't be too bad a feature, although manual savestates are a bit better in my opinion as you don't run the risk of the savestate being in a really weird moment (eg: jumping across a gap or mid-dodge).
