Does Anyone know if you can use the Wiimote + Nunchuk control scheme for this game? NSMB Wii mainly focused on the horizontal remote control scheme, but it had that Wiimote + Nunchuk control scheme if you wanted to use it.

It would be easier if you just told us what cIOS you have installed in slot 249. That way, people would simply update what they really need to, rather than using pimp my wii.

@Foulplay: it's way too early to worry about the firmware. Thus far, there are ZERO games that really require a firmware version (games rely on the IOS (or the cIOS, if you're using a backup)...the number in the system menu is mostly fancy window dressing). And I doubt this one will be the exception. You're much better off just updating cIOS249 to a later version, like hellboy mentions.

Works fine for me, no idea what my settings are i havent updated my Wii in over a year, i used USBLoader GX though (not sure which version it is).

I'm unable to get the USB loaders because...I just don't have a HDD, so I have to stick to DVD-backups 'till then.

So am I (and maybe others) screwed? Or can I wait for something?

How to get past the White Screen Freeze:

1) Update cIOS' to Rev21 D2x6. (I used IOS249 as a Base but you can use whatever.)
2) Download CFG USB Loader Rev70
3) Play.

Currently at Level 3-4 having no issues at all.

EDIT: I tried using USB Loader GX (Which I usually use) and it seems to still freeze.

I have CFG USB Loader v70 running Waninkoko cios 249 @ base 57 without any freezes. Any other base ios will likely to have sound/screen freezes...

edit: I can play the game, but if I quit then try to run the game again will freeze right after the screen title (save reading??)

It's working fine for me. I'm using the latest d2x v7 beta1d, with wiiflow r417. It's too soon to know, but perhaps there is a bad dump of the game out in the wild.
