Hacking RetroGameFan Updates/Releases

I just downloaded this update today, I'm having a little difficulty with Harvest Moon : A Tale of Two Towns.

I can play the game alright and everything, but when I go to save the rom freezes up on me every time.

I'm playing on an M3 Real, using the RetroGameFan firmware (I even wiped my SD card and reformatted it and re-installed everything). I've spent about two hours on Google and other forum sites trying to figure out how to fix it but I can't seem to find anything.

My questions are, has there been a fix for it and I'm just missing something? If not, is there a way to play with save states with this firmware?

I have a favor to ask to you retrogamefan: can you add the "R4i max" flashcard to your multicard release please? is a flashcard to lite/dsi/3ds and im using it to play nds games on 3ds and I have used your software in a M3 Real, on my nds lite (wich i have sold xD), and I want to continue using it on this new flashcard but it does not work (I have try every folder that comes in the .rar file).

Please help! ^^

1. BACKUP your microSD to your PC
2. FORMAT (FULL overwrite) your microSD with the Panasonic SD Formatter (in the extras folder of my Multi Cart Update).
3. Install your carts kernal
4. Install TTMenu/YSMenu from my Multi Cart and DAT Updates for your cart

Mahasama, please download my newest DAT Update v6.74 5995b, then copy/replace the following : extinfo.dat, infolib.dat, m3patch.dat, savlib.dat and usrcheat.dat to your TTMenu folder on your microSD. Then please delete the game save (.sav) for 5829 - Harvest Moon DS - The Tale of Two Towns (U) from your microSD then try the game again. I have jsut tested 5829 and it plays and saves perfectly fine for me.

Sergio, your cart looks like it is an R4i-SDHC clone, so you should be able to use the R4-SHDC_R4i-SDHC TTMenu folder.

The r4i version is not working.

I just put the new firmware and then the error message that a dsi shows when the card is not readable(black screen error) is shown. Nothing happens.

You remember my special problem with a samsung microSD 4GB ?
I still have a problem with two game and i try with other microSD, these two games work !!
apparently it exist a little difference between some microSD and all the others

i talk about the problems i know, maybe it exist others, because i dont try every games you fixed

Hi RetroGameFan. I want to ask you something. Can you make a new usrcheat.dat who contains cheats for "Inazuma Eleven 2: Ventisca Eterna (S)" and "Inazuma Eleven 2: Tormenta de Fuego (S)"?

I dont see Inazuma Eleven 3 The Ogre in the latest dat update,did you add it retrogamefan?

Retro he's talking about a game, not your kernel. He wants you to add a game to the kernel that's currently unsupported. He's been asking around for help everywhere. He wants the Inazuma 3 english translation game, being translated by gbatemp members, added to your kernel.

He already has the kernel on his card. If you read back through the thread, you'll see I'm right. He's having trouble with roms.

Like I said before reading, just a guess. If the game's not working for you even on the latest DATs, backup and full format. Or maybe the AP patch was applied incorrectly, or lastly, the dump is corrupted/incomplete

An addition too. Now the display screen shows strips of yellow and orange. (the unwanted ones)

i'm having a problem..

after I add zelda spirit trak and marvel tcg..
when I try to choose a game, the ds will hang while it loads on the games menu..
not just when I choose the 2 new game but also other games hangs when I click it.
i also added the neew dat files but this didnt change the hang problem =(

i removed the 2 games alrdy but it still hangs.. =(
what should I do??

i tried and tried and tried and tried to turn off/on ds, load r4i, choose game and still hangs while loading///

pls help im starting to panic =(

I'm having a problem. When I try to play any game, the DS hangs while trying to load the game.
All games hang! I tried to add the new .dat files, but the problem isn't fixed.

To fix your problem do this: Copy all the files in the "RetroGameFan DAT Update v6.74 5995b" to inside your TTmenu folder (DO NOT COPY OVER ANY OF THE TEXT FILES OR M3PATCH.DAT OR R4PATCH.DAT OR YSMENU.INI TO YOUR TTMENU FOLDER). When prompted by your computer, it's "OK" to overwrite the old files. We want to over-write the old files.

Pro Tip: In the future, be cool on this website, if you don't get a quick response.
