FB Neo runs some games better, eg no error on Kung Fu Master when going up ladders at end of stage and iirc games like robocop have better performance.

Either way this is still a solid build.

Thanks again mate
No problems and thank you. Look out for Version 3, it will be awesome :). Might somehwere 2-4 weeks away as I am just completing a PS VITA port of the image.....This image on the PS VITA.....2 words, Bloody Awesome

Sounds awesome.
I think its fair to say that Retroaussie is keeping the Wii U homebrew scene alive where others seem to have given up.

Bless you mate :yayu:

Please RA team try to port Redream core to Wii U. Just tried it on my cheap phone and it almost ran Sonic Adventure 2 at full speed!

Reicast RetroArch Build is pretty much the best you can get for Dreamcast Emulation including Netplay well last I checked it also supports WinCE Titles also features Atomiswave and Naomi support , Redream was kind of let go due to the Developer wanting money for his work which is understandable.

WiiU can do Dreamcast but just as @the_randomizer pointed out No one wants the complex challenge which is a damn shame.

But keep Dreaming pun intended...

ok. I installed the assets folder but I still get that error. and now its on ANY emulator. Retroarch is on my home menu (in a folder if that does anything) and It keeps on doing that on (yet again) ANY emulator. Please help me out!

Hi All,

Is there any fix for the slow i/o? Larger folders take close to 60 seconds to load.

Also is there any way to update to 1.7.7 via retroarch itself? I updated all and I was still on 1.7.6

Thanks

Working on Version 3.
Complete clean up of artwork, restructure of playlists & new systems
An awesome new theme thanks to Hursty :)

Stay tuned

i dont know if it was already covered, but is it possible install retroarch on a usb drive?
And how can we send the roms and all the other stuff to the usb drive?
Thanks

I've a question: is there any way for me to make Retroarch autosave SRAM at regular intervals without necessarily having to choose Close Content/Quit Retroarch? Like, say, making Retroarch autosave SRAM every five minutes or so.

As mentioned in a previous post, the link for the build is on RetroManiacUS and Wii / Wii U Modders Facebook Groups, the build requires a 128GB SD card and a modded Wii U, very easy to install but can take a while to unzip and copy to SD Card, here are some details on the build

- 55 System/Collections

- Custom playlists

- 99.9% Artwork for all roms

- Full Complete port of the Bezel Project to the Wii U incorporating per rom, system & handheld bezels

- All vertical roms automatically flipped 180 degrees, (by default they launch upside down for some strange reason)

- All playlists preconfigured to launch with correct emulator straight away.

Here is a preview -

This is amazing. It's exactly what I've dreamt someone doing with Retroarch.

You deserve god like status for life.

Your creation will be a big part of my family's life for a long time to come.

Thank you b

Lol I am no god, I just like making amazing builds for myself and happy to share, Just finishing the Vita project and then will be back to the WiiU for a huge Version 3 Update

V3 looks great - will this be a standalone download or can we just update from V2?
Thanks Mate, Version 3 will be a huge update from the ground up, it will be split up into a LITE Version (non cd based) est size 20-30GB and a MEGA version (includes CD based stuff) 100-120GB. It will need to be a brand new install as many things will improve change as I have done for the PS Vita scene. Stay tuned

How do you make each playlist have its own unique background image?

I doubt it would run well on Wii U given that it's PPC, not ARM, and needs dynarec.
yeah what about they ported to GameCube lot of Sega like Sonic Adventure 1, 2 also Crazy Taxi also to Wii House of the Dead 2 & 3 i think it has to be coded break or decrypt it. Also u can convert GameCube or Wii into Wup Installer anything is possible

Not gonna happen, the devs don't care about dynarec
