Can I scan standalone rom folders? When I scan my main rom folder RA got stuck
for scanning you need to have the databases ( Online updater --> Update Databases )
also, scanning is ridiculously slow without iosuhax and libfat, so make sure you are in a CFW before staring a scan, and keep the folder small, it can take a while.
if you have huge folders, better do the process on PC and copy back the playlists.

@ploggy thank you!
Now all of my games are properly set in the playlists and each console has its icon now :D

Now the only problem I seem to be having is that I cannot run any game from the Playlists.
I tried booting up Doom 1, Castlevania Legends, Castlevania 3 and I Mario Clash, but when I select "Run" I get a message saying something about failing to run the game.
However, if I load a core and then load content, it plays fine.

I believe you have to edit the lpl files with Notepad to show the correct path to your roms in the sd card.

Maybe auto core/game detection is broken somehow?

like the others said, you have to set the correct rompath in the lpl :) (top line)

I will ask this again as it may have been missed but is anyone else getting constant dsi errors with the latest nightly when switching cores and also when I exit out and switch the wiiu off the next time I load retroarch I get a message about my memory being curupted and I have to then delete my retroarch cfg files off the sd card to get it to work again

Have you tried starting completely from scratch? or deleting your cfg files?

My god am I stupid.
I had the paths as if I were looking for files on Windows. xD

I had F:\roms\(path)
Instead of sd:/roms/(path)

It should work now haha.

Also, for whoever asked, TyrQuake is still broken at the moment, I got a DSI Exception when trying to load pak1.pak from the original Quake package.

Lol
One thing I'm wondering though, is if the Online Updater updates the cores from the Stable links or from the Nightly links.
If it's the latter then it would save me the time to jump between the Wii U and the PC for sure :P
I think it update the nightly
