WinCE games are even rare to be able to play on PC. I think only Flycast Retroarch is the only Dreamcast emulator that supports them.

Why not try the psp version? Ps1 will look & run worse, even if you get it working.
i get an error msg when trying psx eboot on ppsspp, idk what i'm doing wrong

It looks like you may need the ps1 version then, many apologies.
I thought it was remade for psp, but eboot will never be supported on ppsspp.
My suggestion if you want on on ps1, you could try beetle emulator instead, the emulator supports overclocking of the actual emulator. Most importantly I think you need ps1 bios to run it, so make sure the bios are in the correct folder and its checked in the settings if your trying pcsx. Your other options are trying ubuntu/lakka/android.

PCSX-Rearmed (in Retroarch) also supports PS1 eboots.

well it is a ps1 emulator ;). But definately converting to pbp is a solid way to go, less files & smaller storage space. However I think you can compress even further now using chd format. It should work for pcsx rearmed, although ive yet to try.

Does anyone knows if:
Lets say my console gets banned,
Will i still be able to use dns90 to download core updates, connect to retroachievements...?
Or is there another safe way to use retroarch online? Thx

Well if you were worried about getting banned you should have been using an emunand in the first place. Without it you could already get banned and it may be too late if you have booted your Switch with CFW which I assume you have.

Yes. My systems banned and I can still connect to internet for things like retroarch downloads, updates and homebrew store.

I just switched it to switch_thread and it still isn't outputting any sound? It was default on switch_audren_thread.
Other people have been having the same issue on the Discord server too.
I think it might be a problem of the buildbot lacking some specific stuff for the Switch builds.
I suggest either contacting m4xw through Discord or making an Issue report on GitHub.

Does it only happen with Mupen?

I only have n64 set up right now. Will try some other cores asap. Thanks for the help.

Can confirm I have audio in SNES. So it must be related to n64. Not sure about other cores yet.

I can't seem to access the discord channel. Says the invite isn't valid. Is there a new link?

There has been a safe way to use retroarch online since emunand has existed.
Use it on an Emummc/Emunand with incognito installed. Its a tad more failsafe than 90dns and wont hinder your download speeds.
For online games/eshop use sysnand.
