So you guys use a different Micro SD for Homebrew? and why is there corruption with ExFat?

no is not lol. alot of work is when you lost your games for using exfat, and you need to re-add them

I've never lost games, but when i did repair my Micro SD the program automatically deleted the .HTC textures, but not my games.

thats still something you cana void by using fat32.

I’d like to try this, but if it makes things worse I’d like to be able to go back to my per game override setting for this game.

Does anyone know how I can go back to defaults with Mupen, test it, and then return to my previous per game settings?

you should look at the filenames in /retroarch
Also you are supposed to save core options per game for n64

Because all the other issues that go along with using exFAT weren't enough incentive to switch to FAT32.

The exFAT corruption issue is recognised as genuine by pretty much all credible developers, and even the piracy groups recognise the issue. There is no real downside to FAT32 anymore, you can still use 4GB+ games.
