Hmm I wish we could map L3 and Plus both to P1 Start at the same time. But I guess that is not possible atm.

Well...I've been playing with it all day long and as many multiplayer games/systems as possible. I haven't come across a game where I can't get it to work and I have to say using L3 for Start isn't so bad. I haven't done it accidentally once.

format of card? exfat or fat 32?

Sounds a bit like the "archive bit issue". Did you use a Mac?

Exfat on a mac. Tried it on fat32 on a windows pc and it works. However, this will require using a second sd card for the emulation since there is a 4GB limit so I cant include large NSP games on it and therefore need to use a separate sd for it. Is there no way to get retroarch working on exfat? In the best of worlds I would like to use a single large sd card for all my game NSPs and roms.

You can install larger nsps through usb or just use an nsp splitter.

What do you mean by through USB? when does the 4 GB limit apply and when does it not? Do you mean direct install through tinfoil? Have not got that to work...

You can either use USB to install the files directly from your computer, or use an nsp splitter to split the nsp files. Both will get around the 4GB limit. This has been the case for months.

I posted this earlier but look up XCI Splitter. It works with XCI and NSP. On Mac, Linux or PC. I tested with SX OS 2.3beta. Works great.

Any chance of Daphne being ported to the Switch?

I'm sure this has been asked before in this thread but there's almost 200 pages so it's hard to find anything on it.

I'm having trouble getting audio to work in ps1 games with multiple bin files.

I saw it mentioned to convert the games to iso or single bin+cue then convert that to PBP using PSX2PSP but that didn't solve the issue, am I missing something?

yes, if you download from http://buildbot.libretro.com

AFAIK this is a known issue, not yet fixed: https://github.com/libretro/pcsx_rearmed/issues/199

Can anyone suggest anything to do with n64 games and bad audio?

Crackling etc..

Tried a clean install of retroarch same issue...

Running

6.1.0

Reinx

n64 roms from Cylum...

PSX works great no issues as do the other consoles, nes/snes etc. and mame

Is it really that hard to dig the info that n64 emulation AT THE CURRENT MOMENT is not in a great state? It needs arm64 dynarec (google for more info if interested) which is as i may presume is almost finished and will be released very soon. But at that moment your only option is to bump OC to maximum and tweak other settings and it may run semi-decent.

ps. Thread about n64 running at full speed very soon is literally couple of threads down...

What is the internal resolution in retroarch and can you change it? Looks to be way below 720p given the stairsteps in n64 and psx games (just look at my pic below). And how do you set three point n64 bilinear filtering?

My video settings are
Custom aspect ratio width 960 (3x)
Custom aspect ratio height 720 (3x) (these do not seem to influence the native res?)
No integrer scale

I have a problem with the mupen64plus switch. I do not know if someone happened, the problem is that when I play a n64 game, the graphics disappear and the emulator crashes, I do not know if I am the problem, I am using the retroarch nsp with sxos someone. can tell me what the problem will be?.

To quote myself from a posting that got swamped, by "but what about me" postings, as usual.

Core settings: bilinear filtering 3point, framebuffer deactivated,
System settings: 1.7 OC
Video Settings: threaded video on, vsync off
Driver Settings: driver audio switch_thread

= no sound crackle on Zelda OOT.

How do you set bilinear filtering 3 point? i cannot see that option under my n64 core settings? which version of the core do you have?
