Did you guys have to edit the config to be getting 60fps with games like Yoshi's Island and Super Metroid? I'm getting less than 50% speed here....

N3DS FW8.1 CIAs.

Also, I'm using the OOT exploit with Gateway card and DevMenu installer, does that give the CIAs access to full clock cycles and memory?

I'm using the 3dsx builds. BTW, you should really be on 9.2 at least.

Will 9.2 make the emus run faster? I have another 9.2 N3DS laying around but I accidentally updated my emunand a few months ago and I haven't cleaned it back up.

No, it won't be any faster then 8.1 but you'll have better compatibility with hax.

Thanks! I'll keep it around in case something new comes up, but I'll keep doing the OOT / GW swap each time an emu crashes my 8.1 3DS in the mean time.

I'll try deleting my cfg files, maybe my tinkering with them caused it to run slower than what users are reporting here....

So i know this is kinda offtopic, but my n3dsxl seems like it dies really fast, like ill have it fully charge and sleep mode and the next day or that afternoon it will be red and flashing, but on my old 3ds xl it last longer any ideas?

It runs at 268Mhz on o3DS and 804Mhz on n3DS.

If that's the case, once an emulator hits full speed on an O3DS, would it be a good idea to lock the program at 268Mhz, so that battery life is conserved and the additional power is no longer needed anyways?

No, because the some games are always going to lag on o3DS. Like SFX games.

Okay, once we get per-core settings, would it be possible to make it a toggle that got saved to a config file and remembered what ROM was being used for that setting? I've been playing a lot of Earthbound lately (never played it before, and found a hack that modernizes the controls a bit), and noticed that I was having to recharge much more often then before.

A toggle could be implemented to switch CPU clocks.

That's basically what you do when you lock games down to 60fps. RA already does this. Like say you turn frame limiter off and the game runs at 100fps. If you're limiting it to 60fps you're economizing CPU usage.

"Requires to run for at least 4096 frames" gpsp emulator give me that error, I know that I have to put a gba-bios.bin in the core/system folder, but now? I put in and I still have that error :(

isnt the bios meant to be called gba_bios.bin not gba-bios.bin
