I think we've got to wait a little. Since Nov 15 onwards, retroarch builds have been having issues.
Really? Because I've tried the 11-3 build and it still does it. I wish I could find a stable version, as I want to give it as a gift. :/

here's a quick guide, if anyone wants it:
I've got a couple older ones if anyone wants to see if I have a specific build date. I only really have 3DSX though, be warned.

in Retroarch, go to Settings -> Driver. what is chosen for Audio Driver? "dsp" has usually caused crashes for me.

The more games I test, the more crashes I seem to get. Does anyone have a build of gpsp that they have never had crashing problems with?

O3DS over 9.2 currently? Maybe some PS1 games will be playable after a lot of optimization. I'd give it a year or two.

well since cfw, 10.3 emunand(should I be on lower fw? for optimal psx action?), thats nice to hear, hoping for some RPG action on the O3DS in the future :}

Anybody have much luck getting fMSX working? Also, what issues is the PCE core experiencing right? Because I've got it running on my N3DS with no problems whatsoever.

If you're on CFW and/or EmuNAND, then it doesn't really pertain to you, anyway. Even then, that's still an optimistic estimate. I was thinking along the lines of something like SotN, a 2D sprite based game. Anything more than that and I'll be surprised if it reaches full speed on O3DS. Maybe some will without sound.

I'm having trouble getting config overrides to work. I made the changes to the config I want for quicknes, set the config directory to rgui_config_directory after making that folder on the root, and copied the config to rgui_config_directory/quicknes/quicknes.cfg. But it's not working. What am I doing wrong?

All I really want to do is define my file browser directory, aspect ratio, controls and filter setting per core.

Why do people say NES emulation is flawless? I've been trying both FCEUMM and Nestopia, and they're both at around 40 FPS. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Okay, now I have a different question. I used blargSnes a while ago, and when I launched it, all was good. However, when I tried to quit the emulator back to the launcher menu, the bottom screen went red and it froze. Now my system freezes whenever I try to run blargSnes. Is this something I can resolve or should I try some other SNES emulators?

EDIT: looks like posts aren't always automatically merged, whoops
