What is the difference between Mame and FBA, in 2 words. (or 3 if you feel strong enough).:P

MAME can run things like Mortal Kombat I and II, and according to TwinAphex, one of the head devs of RetroArch, can actually run some games with better performance/less glitches than FBA.

For Mame older versions are usually much less accurate but due to that they are often much faster. Hopefully can find a happy medium that plays a decent amount of games.

@Rabujan, that's covered in the topic post.
- To use the circle pad/analog pad as Dpad :
General menu > Settings > Input > Input User 1 Binds > User 1 Analog To Digital Type > select "Left analog" or tart a game and then open the emulator menu, go to Core Input Options and change "User 1 Analog to Digital Type" to Left Analog.

(cia n3DS emunand)
so here's whet I tried :
(shump rotation is still broken obviously so it's just to check speed/sound/gfx)
Armed police batrider : fullspeed
Batsugun special : fullspped
dodonpachi : fullspeed
street fighter zero 3 : still working fullspeed
snk vs capcom chaos : still working fullspeed
EspRaDe : full speed
(tried some Irem stuff which doesn't work on regular FBA, gotta admit I never tried those on fba before ^^'')

seems like I forgot to test sega stuff...xD
You didn't cut PGM & CAVE off right?
I have huge doubts about PGM/Cave stuff in mame in 2003 though.

with the fba build from daxtsu I couldn't load PGM stuff (demon front, bee storm, espgaluda, ddpdoj, ketsui)

with CPS3 stuff I get a "cannot push null or empty core info into playlist" what rom did you try for sf3? region/cd/no cd etc

I got 56 fps with jojo on FBA- CPS3!!!!
Ohhhhh,it is almost playable as a ftg.

This build doesn't support PGM,sad. As a Chinese, I'd like to try orlegend.zip

SFIII is the original version sfiii.zip

Argh, what a pain. You can't do the entire MAME build with Windows since it has to link almost 2,000 files together. At any rate, I'm finishing up the build, finally.

FML, I forgot to compile with VFP. RIP, now I have to start over.

Why does it support PGM ? :\

Is there a way to assign an input to execute multiple button presses?
For example, I'd like to map L2 and R2 to 3 punch and 3 kicks for CPS2.

Well,I just can't help making it the wide screen now,do not like 1:1 that much.
Here are the screenshots with @daxtsu version.
