Is it possible to back up a retail game cartridge save and use it on sky3ds? I would prefer that it be for the format that doesn't use EEPROM saving. I haven't been able to find anything relevant on Google, and also haven't tried anything myself as of yet. But here's what I'm trying to do:
Girlfriend has 2ds with 9.2.0u and legit copy of theatrhythm final fantasy:curtain call
I have 3dsxl with gateway and 9.4u EMUNAND (4.5u base fw)
I bought her a sky3ds (red button) for Xmas. And I want to dump her rom and save file for the sky card.
I am not sure if gateway save dumps are compatible with sky3ds, and I also know that I can't back up her save without losing it until GW native 9.2 support is released. But I would like to know if it is at all possible to allow her to use her old save on the sky3ds.
