Hacking Restore Wii Menu

I intstalled a black menu on my wii a while ago.
I was a bit stupid and did not do a wii system back up with a nadda or what ever its called.

If I did do a back up then I lose all of my saves if I resore.

But back to the main point my wii is a 4.2u wii, with some dark theem that I want off.


How do I put the white one back in?
Where do I get the white one from the net?

Please some one help/

Easy, reinstall your wii system menu with the required ios.
Warning do not install LATEST IOS, they are stubbed and they will BRICK your wii..

Yeah thanks for the answer that goes right over my fing head.

I want something easy to understand, is there a so called tutorial on how to do this?

I need a bit more then just a stupid "restore iso's"

Use Modmii to download System Menu 4.2U and IOS70v6687. It is important you download this specific version. Download any other version and you'll brick your Wii. Install IOS70 first followed by System Menu 4.2U using MMM or WAD Manager.

If I do that will I still have my other stuff like my saves and my installed wiiware? and my other hacked iso's?

ok I downloaded a wad but its 4.2U_Systemmenu_v481.wad

Its the wrong V thing right?

I would I change it to the right one/

Now you need to download IOS70v6687.

You downloaded the right system menu 4.2.

Thanks man, I'm going to run it on my wii after I beat OoT....

Well I ran it and my wii blew up. Its in about a billion parts....

Easier answer for later (in case anyone wants it), using the original .app file you used to make the .csm with would install the original theme without needing to install anything else. For 4.2 that is 87.app and for 4.3 that is 97.app, it would just need to be "installed" with mymenufy. I realize their wii is already working, but if this thread is looked up later this would be faster and likely they would already have the file they neeeded (it is used to take a .mym and make a .csm).
