No. Don't have enough money for a second, and I've heard Japanese who tried the same are feeling losses for their move. Seems it didn't work as well as it did with the Wii.

Remember the original PS3 when it launched that was in very short supply and cost about $650 USD? People were reselling those for upwards of $1200.

There is always room to make profit if supply is low.

IF supply is low, lol.
PS3 fucked up bad. I was so jealous of people reselling.

The wii was only reselling for about a $100 profit.

I can't imagine the 3DS reselling for much, I bet they made a ton of them to fit the demand.
I know here, i'll be able to walk into future shop or walmart in the middle of the day and pick up a 3DS with ease. But maybe that's just my town.

I know this is considered "necroeing" but Vulpes Abnucto brought up a good point. Do yo0 think that the 3DS will be resellable for $350 or more? It seems that the supply isn't so low, because I was able to pick one up with out pre-ordering. There not going for much more on ebay currently, hmmm.

like my region (ps. i'm in europe and there aren't any walmarts, gamestops, etc. only technomarket

)
and there haven't been any 3ds' here.(good thig I preordered it from ebay.)

Still 250 is expensive. Thats like buying a home console. I might buy mine in the future after they finalize everything on it. Seem's I'll be going back to buying retail rather than pirate when I move to 3DS.

"I think that around Christmas the 3DS will become scarce and then it will become profitable to resell. That's if past hardware availability is any indication."
As always, past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.

As of right now there are Craigslist ads for 3DS' at $400. There are also ads above those saying that there were 10 or more Units available at any given Gamestop.

If people are stupid enough not to look around locally before buying it at an outlandish price, then they don't deserve that money anyway.

It's like buying a few years old home console. Consoles don't sell for $250 at launch. I don't think even the 360 arcade did?
So buying a new launch 3DS is like buying a 1-2 year old current gen home console.

But in contrast, the first-gen PSP sold at launch for 200 dollars. A 50 dollar increase isn't TOO bad... If you have a job.
