CFW isn't needed if you can sign the images, the sdk has a tool for that, it's pretty easy to find on the interwebs. You can simply sign them and then replace without any CFW.

I want to state this load and clear:
You do not need the sdk for tga modifications there isnt any special checksums or anything like that. use my tgaverifiy tool(linked in the OP) will make ensure any and all images are valid.

@pietempgba there is nothing upscaled? its downscaled from 1920x1080p and the Gamepad Logo was 4929x2501 pixels!
