Hello!
I recently purchased an original GBA and a GBA SP with a backlit screen.
The GBA SP's case is in rough shape so I was hoping to replace the original GBA screen with the SP's screen. I thought I read that you need a special ribbon cable to replace the screen. If so, what is the cable?

Thanks!

I've been doing some reading and I came across this post:

I'm pretty good with electronics, so I believe I can do this.
Just to make sure I've got this right, if I solder the backlight screen's pinout to the same pinout labels on the original GBA's board following the guide, would everything work?
Just want to make sure I'm right before I go to the trouble of taking everything apart. ;)

It does seem so, reading the first page of your post the cable would save any soldering but if you've got a good iron and a steady hand then it should be simple enough :)
