EDIT: Went the third party route with Disk Drill. Problem solved.
Meh, I'm having an issue and am looking for some clarification from someone with greater knowledge.
Recently my 4-Bay docking station for my hard drives died and I was forced to buy a new one. When I plug in the drives all of them work except one. I tried fitting it in different slots and such to rule out that its not an issue of the new enclosure. I returned the HDD to its original external enclosure and it shows up in disk utility but still cannot write/read. This is what it looks like.

Basically I'm trying to access the drive without formatting. I read about tools such as Testdisk but i'm not even really sure if that will address my problem. Maybe theres an easier solution? I've done a lot of reading online and it feels like I'm stumbling through the dark. Maybe someone can help steer me in the right direction? If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.
