Hey,

First, I can rename wiiflow Boxcover files with the pre-extension (image.zip.png) with bulk renamer without a problem.

But, the file name has to be exactly as the rom name.
If I have a rom called: Zillion (USA).zip and the image file is Zillion (USA, Europe).zip.png, it won't work.

I have been using also XML file and roms renamer to match that xml file that contains the list of games I want on my system. Tha work with the CRC signature of the rom.

But, there are no Image file Rename that can match all my roms.

Is there a utility software that can rename a batch of files with the same name as another batch of file in another folder, that would mean that I would have to make sure all image files are in the EXACT same order as the source files, in that case the roms.

I know there are .dat file available out there, but having hard time renaming my image files.

Thanks

Luc

If Bulk Rename Utility can do this, I don't know how...

I managed to do it using Advance renamer > Add Method : List

I had to generate that list.txt in the command prompt with: ..\roms> dir/b list.txt

But still, I need to clean my image folder to make sure I have the exact order of the files that matches the order of the list.
Can't miss one!

Thanks! :)
