Remove dark filter on WiiVC?

Is it possible to remove the dark filter on Wii VC? All method's I've found are for the Wii U. I really want to Play OOT and SM64 without the filter, as my TV's screen isn't that bright and it can be hard to see stuff sometimes.

If emulators like Not64 work perfectly with those games then I'll just use it, but I can't seem to find an up-to-date compatibility list.

Sorry I misread a bit the part of the #1 post. If you're referring to original Wii Virtual Console, the three main emulated systems on Wii VC (NES, SNES, Nintendo 64) have dark filters.

Here's some guidelines for removing them:

Yep, it does! I was looking at the De-Flicker thread but got scared off because I have a CRT and it's OP makes it seem like the flicker filter is good for me. Thank you!!
