Anyone else having an issue where the games run fine but when you try to close the game the WiiU hangs indefinitely trying to open the home screen? This doesn't happen with my regular VC games, only the ones created by this injector.

I tried to inject a Wii ISO using the program, but when I try to extract it as a WUP Installable file, it doesn't create a folder. It only makes one when I use Injectiine on other consoles. Why not working? :(

fi you already installed .Net Core do following:
If you do not have .Net Core:
  • Install .Net Core
  • If it still doesnt work, follow the steps above

I need to Inject a game which needs the option "Disable Trim" to be enabled. However, the injected file (WUP installable) for which I selected the "Disable Trim" option is the same size as the Trimmed one and it does not work when installed. The trimmed one works but it cannot play properly (the instruction is already to inject it Untrimmed). What should I do about this?

Also, when I press on the question mark sign next to the "Disable Trim" the program crashes.

EDIT: Additional info - I am using an ISO file
EDIT2: I tried converting the ISO to WBFS and then tried injecting it and the installed game works (it can be ran) just as the trimmed ISO but still cannot be played properly.

EDIT 3: I have found the solution - the problem was that the dump was not clean (the iso file was much smaller in size than it should have been - around 4.37 Gb). So after obtaining the pure .iso file I was able to inject the game normally like any other. In case anyone wonders the game I injected is Pokemon Battle revolution (PAL). A fun fact is that the injected Pokemon Battle revolution can sync with Nintendo DS systems and you can have the 1v1 or 2v2 battles normally.

Will anyone plan to update UWUVCI to support short names of game names that use two lines?

I'm making an inject of a Wii game that uses two lines of text for its name. But I've encountered a bit of a problem. After playing it and viewing the Daily Log will only show the first line of the game's name. For example, Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World will use two lines of text like this;

Tales of Symphonia:
Dawn of the New World

However, after playing it and viewing the Daily Log in the Wii U menu after exiting will only show one line of text that says "Tales of Symphonia:". But when tapped, it will show up as;

Tales of Symphonia:
Dawn of the New World

Hopefully when this update comes out, I can put a short name that really describes what the game is, so Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World will show up as "Tales of Symphonia: New World" on the Daily Log.

Oh, and one more problem; When creating a bootTvTex image, when entering text for a game on two lines, It will not fit perfectly. Hopefully the new update can resolve this issue by resizing the text to actually fit in full.
Why does no one like my idea... :(

I've been having no problem with the UWUVCI injector until last night. Suddenly when I try to inject Lord of the Rings the Third Age (a 2 disc GameCube game) no more games show up in the Injected Games folder unless I make them Loadiine files. I've tried reinstalling UWUVCI, but no changes. Does anyone have any ideas on a fix?

I've been trying to inject Metroid Prime Trilogy for Wii but every time it gets to a certain point it throws an error. I have tried several different iso's from different sources. Verified them and the same thing happens. I even tried TeconMoon's WiiVC Injector and the same thing happens each time. I know how to get it working other ways but I wanted to see if I could inject it. I also tried Metroid Other M and the same thing happened. I thought it might be the 8gb file size but I grabbed Last Story which is 8gb and it worked fine. I am out of ideas. just want to see if I am missing something. Thanks.

What size is your iso? Could be that it is an NKIT. if that is the case rename it to name.nkit.iso instead of name.iso how it is currently.

Yeah @NicoAICP... The UWUVCI tool i suppose it don't allow Wii & GameCube game backups which were converted to .nkit.* format. They must be converted to standalone/vanilla ISO for use them for injecting.
I've published my files of my NKit tool which includes all the latest databases of the games so you mustn't have problems converting your .nkit.iso to vanilla .iso with it.
I've attached it here in this quote from another thread:
I got all latest Redump dat files and also all database files from Redump and GameTDB WiiTDB and others and I've packed a zip with the latest version of the tool NKit which includes these databases, ready for use.

I will attach it here:

NKit Tool v1.4 with all latest dat files by saulfabreg.zip

It allows the use of nkits, but if the nkit is just labled .iso instead of .nkit.iso uwuvci will have issues with it

A question @NicoAICP... i know that's off-topic but it is related with injecting... How's the progress of the original Wii / vWii version of the UWUVCI tool? I'm so excited but tired of waiting for it...

I have tried a properly named nkit. I also restored the nkit file to an iso and verified against Redump. I have also pulled wbfs and converted to iso. I wish we had an error log. I have no idea what the error is.
